Got Talent? Bishop TD Jakes Challenges Musicians Nationwide to Compete at MegaFest 2017
MegaFest Anthem Challenge Offers Exclusive Opportunity for Inspirational Performers to Make Their Musical Mark on Nation's Largest Faith and Family Festival
MegaFest needs an anthem—and Bishop T.D. Jakes, entrepreneur, The New York Times best-selling author and senior pastor of The Potter's House, is asking talented people across the country to create one especially for this mega event.
Church choirs, singers, gospel rappers and spoken word artists are invited to participate in the first-ever MegaFest 2017 anthem challenge. By submitting an original musical score, churches and individuals with the best MegaFest jingle will have the opportunity to perform in front of thousands at MegaFest 2017 from June 28 to July 1. MegaFest is one of the largest, multiday faith and family festivals. The grand prizewinner will be judged on creativity by MegaFest fans on social media. The contest closes on May 31 when voting will begin.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Compose an original 60-second "MegaFest Jingle."
- Submit your video via Mega-Fest.org/Anthem. File size should not exceed 200MB. Only video entries will be considered.
- Identify your entry on the official MegaFest social media platforms and invite your congregations, families and friends to vote online.
- Share the word by tagging @TDJMegaFest on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The grand prizewinner will receive a group registration discount to attend and perform at MegaFest 2017. Hosted in Jakes' hometown of Dallas, MegaFest 2017 is a four-day faith, film and family festival that will cover a variety of interests including entertainment, entrepreneurship, health and fitness, fashion, technology, and more.
